TVGA was retained to perform preliminary studies and detailed design; obtain New York State Health Department approval; and provide construction phase services for the expansion and upgrades of the Village water treatment plant. The project included two 450-gpm pressure filters with chemical feed systems and controls, a new 3,200-square foot garage and office area with a pre-engineered metal building shell, a 960-square foot pre-engineered pole barn, and required site work. Detailed design tasks included HVAC design and specification of gas-fired heating systems and equipment in accordance with the New York State Energy Conservation Code.
Health Department approval was secured and construction was completed in January 2005.
