TVGA was retained to provide survey services for properties covering over 10,000 acres in the Southern Tier of New York State in support of one of the largest Wind power generation projects in the State. The project area includes properties in the Towns of Wethersfield, Eagle and Orangeville, Wyoming County, NY.

TVGA prepared or managed ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys of 130 properties for the placement of Wind Turbines and the related required easements. The surveys were completed in accordance with the 2005 Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys and the following Table A requirements: 1-4, 6, 7a, 10, 11a, 13, 16 & 17. As part of the contract TVGA also managed a 10 sub-consultant team, and was required to perform QA/QC checks on all deliverables to ensure the maps adhered to the required standards. In addition to the ALTA mapping TVGA completed construction staking services for the placement of electric collection lines and access roads for each of the 90 proposed turbine locations.

Deliverables for this project included one (1) set of coordinate data in ASCII format, one (1) set of coordinate data in ARCGIS formats, one (1) digital file in AutoCAD format and six (6) paper plots for all required properties.
