TVGA Consultants (TVGA) provided the necessary professional services to survey and evaluate the existing Lackawanna Fire Stations (No. 1, 2 & 3). The Building Conditions Surveys (BCS) included a general review of program spaces, visual inspection (non-invasive) and general evaluation of the following building system components for evidence of movement, deterioration, structural failure, probable useful life, need for repair, need for maintenance and/or need for replacement of: roofing, exterior elements of the building, building structural elements and building interiors. TVGA also utilized the information compiled during the Building Condition Surveys along with Industry Standard Assemblies Cost Tables & Guides, location factors and historical cost indexes to compile a separate Preliminary Cost Estimate for the repair of each facility.
