TVGA was retained by Interactive Design, Inc. on behalf of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District and Arlington National Cemetery to provide GPS control and create color digital orthophotography for Arlington National Cemetery. The digital orthophotography is the base layer in a web-based GIS for the cemetery.
In addition, TVGA compiled vector data for the cemetery at a scale of 1”=30’. This included each individual headstone and monument. All data collected is GIS compatible and meets the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Photogrammetric Manual Specifications (EM1110-1-1000, 31 July 2002). |
