TVGA has completed several assignments under the three year on-call agreement for land surveying services.  These assignments included a boundary and topographic survey of the Lakeview Shock Correctional facility in Brocton, New York. TVGA used its conventional survey crews equipped with total stations and real time Kinematic GPS data collection systems to collect ground data. We then incorporated the data from aerial photography utilizing our in house photogrammetry department and merged the conventional and photogrammetric data into one seamless deliverable. Particular care was taken to properly identify the existing underground utility systems at the facility, location, type and elevations, and to follow the OGS standards for mapping during the deliverable preparation. TVGA’s crews also located the existing security devices surrounding the compound with assistance from the local OGS representative.

TVGA has also completed a topographic survey to OGS Standards of the New York State Department of Transportation facility in Clarence, New York. This project was completed on time and within budget and was utilized in the design of improvements to the site infrastructure and buildings.  Other assignments included construction monitoring of a water tank project at the Collins Correctional facility to insure no foundation settlement took place during the filling of the tank.
