TVGA prepared the permit application and final design/construction documents for this 28-acre privately operated solid waste landfill facility. The design incorporated a double composite liner system, a subsurface drainage system, a leachate pump station and storage facility, a stormwater drainage system and sediment ponds, site access roads, a maintenance/office building, weigh scales and environmental monitoring facilities. Professional services included the preparation of all permit application and construction documents, performance of site surveys, and expert testimony at adjudicatory hearings. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s permit to construct and operate the facility was granted in 1995.
