TVGA was retained to provide professional services related to the design, permitting, and construction management of three landfill cells for the lateral expansion of an existing municipal waste landfill. All design information was assembled into a 6 NYCRR Part 360 permit application that was subsequently reviewed and approved by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC).
Responsibilities included preparation of final design contract documents, bid/award assistance, full time construction administration and resident inspection services during construction, and preparation of a Construction Certification Report to document to NYSDEC that proper QA/QC procedures were followed, and that the project was constructed according to the approved plans and specifications.
