TVGA Receives 2 Awards for the American Council of Engineering Consultants

At an awards ceremony at the Waldorf Astoria in
New York City,
TVGA Consultants (TVGA) was awarded with the American Council of Engineering Consultants of New York’s (ACEC/NY) Diamond Award for the Tonawanda Creek Road Failure project in
Clarence, NY.
Conventional survey methodology and the IIris 3D Laser Imaging System allowed quick and safe collection of field data to determine the limits of a road failure caused by the collapse of a stretch of roadway as well as monitored the collapse and adjacent areas for additional movement. TVGA also received a Platinum Award for their participation in the aerial mapping and GIS pilot project at
Arlington
National
Cemetery
in Washington, D.C.
