GRANT NEWS


As we head into the new year TVGA continues to support New York States renewable energy initiatives by providing professional services to our enery clients.  Currently we are under contract with the New York Power Authority (NYPA) for land surveying services, including boundary, topographic and hydrographic survey.  In addition, we are currently working for several renewable energy clients, including wind power and wind energy clients throughout New York State providing a variety of Survey and Photogrammetric/GIS Services.

Annual Competitive Round Announced for Community Development Block Grants

The Office of Community Renewal opened the application period for its Annual Competitive Round of Community Development Block Grants (commonly referred to as CDBGs) and the NY Main Street (NYMS) initiative.  OCR also accepts applications to its Economic Development Program throughout the year.  This year $40 million in funds are available for the 2010 Annual Competitive Round and the Open Round Economic Development Programs.  There is an additional $5 million available for the Main Street Program. 
Applications are due by April 23rd.
